The 2022 vintage—a pure varietal expression—opens with bold aromas of ripe blackcurrant and crushed blueberries, unfolding into layers of sun-dried fig, black raspberry, and juicy Damson plum. Notes of dark cocoa, spiced sandalwood, and smoked thyme weave through the expansive palate, enhancing its rich, velvety texture. Firm yet polished tannins extend through a satisfying finish, accented by hints of graphite, dried lavender, and a lift of candied orange peel.
