2022 Sage Vineyard Red Wine
Our 22-acre Sage Vineyard estate, perched atop Mount Veeder, is comprised of 30 distinct vineyard blocks of Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon, each with unique soil, water, and sun aspects. Modeled to compete with the finest blends from France, Tuscany, and beyond and produced only in certain vintages, these wines are powerful, polished, and uniquely site- and vintage-expressive, displaying the complex aromas and flavors of their varietals and hillside origins.

Rich, dark berry fruit flavors mingle with juicy black plum to introduce an impressively balanced and textured wine experience.
Low yields during a drought-impacted 2022 growing season imparted exceptionally concentrated fruit flavors to this singular blend from the steep hillsides of our Sage Vineyard estate. Dehydrated strawberries and Mission fig are balanced by savory, earth-driven notes— crushed violets, Earl Grey tea, and baker's chocolate. Comprised of a blend that is equal parts Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Merlot, this is an exceptionally harmonious wine experience that will reward with long term aging.
