A personal endeavor, this naturally-crafted 100% estate-grown Shiraz is a tribute to my pedar, or father. Crafted in the simple techniques I observed as a child, Pedar is a wine with great saturation, complexity, and intrigue. Above all, it embodies the joy one realizes when doing things with love.
Pronounced notes of saddle leather, tobacco and smoked pancetta surround the wines core of black cherry, Kirsch, and tapenade flavors—with hints of cracked peppercorn and dried herbs adding varietal intrigue. This 2020 Shiraz is light on its feet with a medium-bodied mouthfeel framed by soft, supple tannins, and a lifted red berry finish.
