Wine Dinner x Momed, LA

Published Nov 20, 2023

Please join us on December 13th at Momed, Los Angeles for a special evening celebrating “Iranian Winemaking in Exile” and the unveiling of Molana, the first wine made from Iranian grapes in 44 years and the subject of the new film, Somm: Cup of Salvation.

Momed Restaurant , a modern Mediterranean gem in Atwater Village will be honoring vintners Darioush and Shahpar Khaledi alongside Moe and Flora Momtazi of Maysara Winery in Willamette Valley, with wines from both estates featured prominently. Chef Vartan Abgaryan will take us on a culinary journey with an exquisite five-course, wine-paired tasting menu.

Following dinner, enjoy an exclusive screening of Somm: Cup of Salvation. Brought to us by the team that made the Somm documentaries, this film follows a father and daughter as they set out to revive the ancient grapes of their homeland in Armenia and the forbidden vineyards of Iran.

We hope to have the pleasure of your company. Please reserve your seats online or call Momed Restaurant at 323-522-3488.
